Photo retouching is the art of taking a photo of a person, like yourself and enhancing the natural beauty. If you are
taking a portrait of yourself, you are taking a snapshot in time where you want to remember yourself, or how
you want others to remember you. There are times when your portrait is taken that you wish you could have avoided,
or removed. The bright magic of a camera flash is good at highlighting a person's natural flaws; acne, pimples,
rashes, tan lines, cat scratches, dog bites, bruises, scars, cuts, you name it, the camera will make it glaringly
obvious. Or, perhaps you are a professional model, or an aspiring model, and you want your portfolio to look a little
more polished. Whatever the reason, it is irrelevant to the fact that sometimes we want our vanity, we want our
beauty, and even if it may not be real, we can envision it, even if for just a single instant in time, create it
and in that instant, make it real.
Or, maybe you want something edited? There are many reasons why you may want to edit a photo;
from decluttering the background of an otherwise great photo to changing the background of a
photo entirely. Perhaps, you want to put someone into a photo who could not attend a special event,
or you want to remove someone from a photo because they are in the way of the scene, or you just do
not want them there. Maybe you are painting your house or car and you want to see what it would look
like in your chosen color before you spend the time, effort, and money actually painting it. There a
thousand reasons for wanting to edit and change a photo, and whatever the reasons are, photo editing
is a very common service request. When you want to turn that good photo into a great photo, or that
great photo into a fantastic photo, sometimes, you are left with no other recourse than to have it edited.
Of course, photo editing is not limited to just improving photos, sometimes it is about just having a little bit
of fun and putting new or surreal elements into a photo that should not be there; changing heads, faces, bodies,
locations, thought balloons, dazzling captions, and custom borders. Sometimes, the only limit is your imagination.
