Photo restoration is an often time consuming process of repairing and restoring a photo from a deteriorating
state to something that may have resembled how it originally looked. While restoration is not an exact science,
and there is no way to make a photo look exactly like it did when it was first taken, the restoration process allows
you to breath a little life back into your old photos which time has ravaged. Restoration is an art form, and
every photo has to be restored step by step, by hand. Every crease, every crack, every stain, every tear,
every missing piece has to be hand painted and repaired. It can be a very time consuming process, and for those
photos really needing repair which are just barely holding together, it can be an expensive process. But, are
your memories and family history not worth saving? Once your old photos reach the point of no return, it will be
lost, forever. Every year you wait, is a new crack, a new crease, more fading, more mildew damage, and the more
expensive it will be to repair, so save those photos while you still can, before it does become too expensive, or
even worse, too late, and all you can say to yourself is, "I wish I had."
Here are just some of the "before" and "after" photos from photos I have restored for my clients.
I will restore and repair those old photos, keeping those memories alive for generations to
come, and you will never have to say, "I wish I had."
