My name is Robert Gardner, and I am a full-time artist, photographer, videographer,
and photo technician operating from a home-based studio called Undo Redo located in
Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland.
As an artist, I consider myself a perpetual student of the visual arts; I am always
listening, reading, and learning from the leaders in the industry, and always
striving to aim for the next level. I can be my own worst critic as I believe
"good enough" never is, and when I am hired for a job I do the absolute best
I can do with what I have to work with, and I never settle in the "it is good
enough for" mindset in my work. If my work is not good enough for me and my critique then it is
not good enough for my clients. I am always left with a questioning zeal of how I
can improve my work, to make it better.
I may be a little eccentric at times (hey, I am an artist after all), but, I am
personable, communicative, and very relaxed in my workspace. I tend to be very
easy going, very flexible in my work flow, and I work easily with my clients to
discuss goals and the necessary solutions to meet those goals. During my photo
and video sessions, people loosen up easily, and even children fall into my
shoots naturally and with ease due to my no pressure, no rush, relaxed shooting
style.
While I take the technical side of my work seriously, I value expression over
suppression, and I encourage my clients to be themselves, to say what
is on their minds for better or worse, and interact with me as if they had known
me for years. I believe having an open minded work experience with me is just
as important as getting good results from my work, and in the end, you really
cannot have one without the other.
Undo Redo is more than a job to me, it is a passion for creation.
